for sale my landrover defender 200 tdi

owned by myself for the last 8-9 years,sailed straight through its mot this month and is a good solid landy that in all those years has never failed to get me home.it had new wheels and tyres last year,it comes with lockbox in the rear ,whinch and bumper lights ,high lift jack ,the lot.it had a lift kit about 2" fitted about 5-6 years ago.never fails to start and has been kept in a garage.i run a tree surgery company and the landy was bought as an occasional need for tree work and off course my shooting.

my reason for sale is i spend more time on the road to get to shooting venues and when hunting often do so on foot.i'm after a renault cleo or peugot 206 to run around in.

bad points are ,i walk on the vehicle so neither wing is straight it pull to the right when braking hard(the only advisory on the mot was brake pads that i have allready bought)i had planned to put a 300 tdi rear diff so it was rear discs but never got round to it .thats about it.

in the pictures the under side looks poor .this could not be further from the truth i drove through floods a couple of times and the river water leaves a fine mud on top of my nice black undersealed chassis.my friend offered to schutz it as he ows me one but that hides many sins and i want people to be able to see how solid it is.

Yeah I wouldn't get either the clios had a problem with the sun roofs leaking and engine and the 206 drove 2 of them and they are a nightmare every time you change gear you end up stepping on the brake, the pedals are so close together, have a look at the reviews mate

Nice truck,clios suffer form head gasket problems its a common fault on them so beware as if they have K seal put into the cooling system this may prevent it getting hot etc just long enough for a genuine person to buy it.So i would look for something different the 206 pedals are close together yes but engine wise they are pretty good just small.

cracking looking motor, i just wish i hadnt bought my jeep now, it is a great truck aswell but it isnt a landy might have to see about selling it lol
