stewie 3,387
As this is nothing to do with hunting let's be honest here......the rspca are the ones who deal with tens of thousands of animals bred for money and money only, the vet's working for them are probably that used to putting healthy animals down it means nothing to them anymore but are they to blame?? Yes for working dog enthusiasts they are c**ts but here they are dealing with a problem they had nothing to do with creating...yet does need addressing.....my local ad mag has 15 plus letters of staff's each week....how many will end up a statistic with in 5 years?? It's these I feel sorry for.....and even more when the rspca use there death as propaganda!!! But what's the alternative?? stray dogs are major problems in a lot of country's, but not here....If people thought more before breeding the rspca would soon be finished......jmo......

Tsayad 88
The RSPCA was founded at a time when people were flogging horses until the dropped dead on the public streets. Arguably, 99.9% of what the society was established to do, has been accomplished.... however if the society were to admit that publicly, their primary sources of funding would be greatly reduced. Hence we see their shift in focus from genuine animal cruelty, to activities such as hunting which are far from the genuine cruelty that the was their original purpose. Call them activists in search of a cause, or simply a group of people desperate to justify their own jobs, it is very apparent that the RSPCA (in this country, at least) is morphing into an animal rights organisation.
