asho 1
Well folks I've just returned from a seriously unsuccessful and disappointing lamp.you can probably guess why by simply looking up!!! At 34 with plenty of hunting years under the belt you'd think I'd know better.and seeing as the short trip down my lane I had to make didn't require me turning the cars lights on should have set alarm bells ringing.well just as dogs get restless when under worked us dogmen too get a little itchy when little things like Christmas gatherings and 4 night's of torrential rain make a little foray into a dark field impossible.now I'm back with brew in hand it's easy to see why I save nights like this for the pub.a big old moon glowing like a flickering like a street lamp as the odd whispy cloud dulls it briefly and hides my shadow.the air still and only the sound of my wellies squelching in the mud and an eager dog for company.I suspect I'm not the only one of us to venture out tonight and I'm pretty sure that like me if you did you'll be setting your alarms early in the hope it's a little better early morning.night folks I've got an early start.god bless you winter. 1 Quote Link to post
