happyhawker 2
Hi there was looking for some advice, set 2pigeon traps in a derelict mill that is infested with feral pigeons at the start of December the first week caught about 30 birds but the last few weeks I haven't caught any.Is there anything I can do to start catching them again. digdeeper 278
Try moving the trap about and keep a bird back as a decoy. Long as theres food an water present you will be fine. Also once you have caught dont let the pigeons that are in the building see what your doing as it spooks them atb Quote Link to post
cammy12 176
what type of trap is it? try keeping them open and let the scuts feed for few weeks to get them confident in feeding there then when theres plenty feed shifting set the trap. Quote Link to post
j j m 6,533
as with most traps let them get used to it and let them feed free ,then start trapping Quote Link to post
