porkycrook 466
Hi has any member got any feedback on the taller (27") tilting bipod. I am intending using it when sat on floor, how steady a platform are they? Thank you in advance for any help. Quote Link to post
sureshot.177 49
My dad has to use one because he can't lye prone for long it puts a load on the qd stud and wood work so he ended up getting the van guard tri pod and that is steady as being prone Quote Link to post

porkycrook 466
Wow thanks for the very kind and trusting offer nangell but i can't take up your offer. Nick you have the exact same unit and yes you are right about the cost but i have to thank my loving sister for this, along with all the other stuff she bought me for Christmas. Do you have legs facing forwards or rearwards? Nick my sister in-law lives in St Dennis in Cornwall, her and her partner moved down there about 18 years ago. I keep asking her to ask some of the people who come into her shop about allowing me to shoot some rabbits, but i think she thinks im joking but as i don't work due to knackered back. Could think of nothing better than being sat at the base of a drystone wall with that scenary as a backdrop. Quote Link to post

Tribeboy1970 9
Hi Roger, I have legs facing forward (when legs folded up) so when I deploy the legs down I can shoulder my gun pushing forward this is a rock solid position, St Dennis ( clay country) is a bit of a way from me, I'm up on the north coast nr Bude, there's a lot of bunnies down there, I'm a hgv driver I'm always looking over the hedge rows for bunnies when I'm in the cab, so I would nag ya sister to see if she could get you some holiday bunny bashing, Nick Quote Link to post
