jezza 126
sounds hard to diagnose early on, only when it is visible on the face can you make a judgement, sorry for the loss of yours bud Quote Link to post
pinguu 169
This is the small report from the vet. Clearly stating he had strangles and bad round worms baring in mind I wormed him when I got him and the vet wormed him. He was a very poorly pup. He seemed fine when I got him but 2 days later he went down hill and just kept going. My wife is fuming as she has basically paid £150 for a pup and then best part of £100 pounds to try help him and its ended in her sitting explaining to our daughter why he won't wake up. angusmcfangus 24
Sorry you lost the pup pal. Stick the name of the breeder up, so as others can avoid buying any dogs in the future from him. Quote Link to post
pinguu 169
I don't really know him I just know he is called grant and is from Hyde, Manchester. I'm not out to cause problems we just thought he would at least offer us our money back as he seemed a sound guy. I felt I could trust him as he knows a lot of lads I know in Barnsley. pinguu 169
My wife has had a response from the breeder offering a pic of litter in 9 weeks, she has told him we are not interested and he has told her there is nothing more he can do. We have been stung big time! We had every faith in the pup being healthy being that it came from a working home, but infact ended up spending more than half the cost of the dog on medication just to watch it die... my wife is refusing to speak to me as i wont call the breeder but......what is the point this guy is clearly out for the financial gain and not the dogs or new owners welfare. i am disgusted and ashamed to say the least. to all those who work their dogs and care for them to the highest standard...hats off to you guys. unfortunately not all hunters are so reliable and that saddens me as this sport is slowly dying out and so are the good guys.
