You no what gnash I've got to admit your right on this, I was in my local other week and the bar was full of Liverpool united and chelsea tops and the bar is 5 min walk from pirelli stadium!! Like you said it's more that people follow results than support a team and there is a big difference, bit like you and Liverpool last year ;) I guess Im the same Liverpool are my favourite in premier league but Burton Albion are MY team, even tho they are small fry!!! Had a great time at the game today, beat southend 2-0 and at before during and after the game I had the crack with loads of friends and family.....so much better than just being another woolly at anfield :D you should all thank your lucky stars you HAVE to support a big club tho, must be nice having no one question something you enjoy... ;)

" bit like you and Liverpool last year " whats that mean ive never claimed to be a Liverpool fan.......if my club are not in the league the club id most like to win the title would be Liverpool......dont get that confused with being a fan, follower or anything else though i just like the history of the club and have always got on well with people of that area nothing more nothing less........so your a Burton Albion supporter now :D ...............whos it going to be next week ?...........you cant have 2 clubs mate thats against the rules of any proper footie supporter you should know that.

Lol I knew you would say that but I did say abit....:D I don't why it's like that tho it just is in a small town I guess!! But it's a never ending argument and in reality makes no difference to anyone, the game goes on as normal......like I said were not all lucky enough to have to support a big team, albion were a non league team few years ago lol

Anyway good luck in 2013 and if your team beat Liverpool I'll still owe you a tenner......

just for all you fergie haters (mainly jealous c**ts co your team are shite or the support that wee north east club hahahaha)

when fergie 1st took over united in 1986 they were 19th in league and got beat 2-0 off oxford. 26 years later and at 71 years of age on new years eve he has won

12 league titles

5 fa cups

4 league cups

2 champions leagues

1 world club cup

1 european cup winners cup (i was there)

he won manager of the decade (not many clubs have a manager that long)

3 managers of the year

11 manager of the seasons

27 manager of the months

2 x european manager of the year

2 x team of the year

onz de or coac of the year 3 times

european hall of fame for manager

bbc sports personality of the year lifetime achievement award

IFFHS best coach of the century award

OBE

CBE

and a knighthood

maybe you should compare your team and managers achievements before you start slating the legend that is sir alex ferguson united have played the worst they have played for years this season and still are 7 points clear at the top all his slating comes down to jealousy of his and uniteds success FACT

And he split the old firm by winning the league in Scotland and the European Cup Winners Cup...no denying he's a class act

Why is it a horrible thing to say that id of liked Liverpool to win a league West Ham were not even in !!!......you need to pay attention mate Lurcher1 was referring to last season....

Hoping Liverpool won the premier league was no different to wanting Dagenham & Redbridge to win the second division,The O,s to win the 1st......or indeed Athletico Bilbao to win La Liga..............which i do every year !........................Why would West Ham fans have zero ambition for preferring certain clubs from other divisions do well  ................................think you slipped up there mate
