I'd give a lot of money to have Cragiy come steaming into this thread and call you all deluded kunts, fair play... You'd be a true Manchester United fan, being from Wales !! LOL !! Have you got your prawn sandwiches with you when you watch them on the telly ?? Whats up ?No teams in Wales worth supporting ? LOL !!! Cheers. not in my part of Wales there ain't! Besides, it's kind of irrelevant to wheel that old chestnut these days, hypocritical in fact when your own team is owned by that well known Geordie Mike Ashley and has good old local boys like Demba Ba and Papiss Cisse banging the goals in off and on! Hmmmm... I've supported my team thru' thick and thin, I stood in the Leazes End when we won the Fairs Cup, and cried a couple of seasons ago when we got relegated ! But I would never switch alegence and support a club simply 'cause they were succesfull ! Why not, if your theory is correct, support Barcelona or Real Madrid ? If you just want to support winners, who will you support next ? Cheers. As I've said in another thread, I've been supporting united since the mid 's when Big Ron was manager and Liverpool were winning everything, so the whole glory hunter thing dont wash with me! My dad grew up watching the Busby Babes and being entertained by the likes of Best, Law and Charlton and I followed suit.. I've never felt the urge to switch team and I never will so you can piss off with your 'who will you support next' jibe! OK; I'll piss off, and support MY team........ you can carry on and support SOMEONE ELSE'S team !!! cheers. Is that the best you can come up with? j j m 6,589
no other manager would get away with what he does with refs and linesmen,as for his older players he wants to get shot of them
scothunter 12,609
i dont like him for what he wrote about rangers in his book, however having said that.i do think he is prob the best manager to ever grace these shores, and it be a long time after he is gone, before we see another manager like him. bracken boy 584
your all mad a few points id like to bring up, as a man utd fan, did alex get it wrong v newcastle? of course he did, should he get a one match ban ? of course he should, now your all ranting and raging bout him lol he must be doing the bizz cus your all cant styand winners, but the best one is why not support your own team of birth? it would be good to but teams like utd, city, lpool, gooners, chelski, would not be able to compete year in year out if they didnt have a worldwide fan base, if my manager steps out of line then so be it ban him, buttttttttttt he is the best in what he does, will man utd win the league? im still not sure, anything can and might happen.
onion jonny 527
lab he was up at lennoxtown watching the bhoys train for a few hours last week, wee neil was prob telling him not to panick just stick to his game plan and his team might get through another round of the champions league, then they'll probably meet one of the big clubs like barca or celtic and that will be the end for them. The Premiership TV money has always been shared out equally amongst all the teams in the league.. United could go down the Spanish route like Real Madrid and Barcelona do and take a share that is proportional to their popularity. It's mostly down to their own insistence that they don't.. The big Spanish two take over 60% of the La Liga TV money between them, contrast that with the 5% or so equal share that United get and the vastly more lucrative TV rights for the Premier league compared to La Liga and you'll get a picture of how daft that statement sounds.. No, I think he was a little out of order with the 'wee club' bit, but then again you've got to look at the whole statement and take it in context.. The fact that this is big news just illustrates his point about anything to do with United being plastered all over the news while things like Pardew shoving an official didn't get nearly as much coverage. That's what was meant, it was the same as when Benitez said that Everton was a small club.. ..but it wouldn't be football if folk didn't cherry pick words and phrases out of statements to take offence at at will, we all do it! 1969, Malt ! And even though I support Newcastle, this has nothing to do with the team I support, it was a question about Sir Alex, in particular and Man U in general ! Cheers. Aye right, so you'd have still posted this tonight if Fergie hadn't called Newcastle a 'wee club from the north east?' Fergie has been picking similar teams all season yet you chose tonight of all nights to post a thread that suggests he's loosing the plot and then say its got nothing to do with you being a Magpie? Maybe you think he's having his Keegan moment mate, would you 'love it?' love it ha ha
