whip x grey 276
I have one of these.. http://nslighting.en...ng_hunting.html what they like??? i was thinking of gettin the newer 85w one Powerful mate,I use mine on the 35w setting as there ain't that much difference,it will last for 2 1/2 hours without switching it off so obviously much longer on and off..these will shine easily as far as a Lightforce Striker ...when the torch goes flat you just remove the battery and use it as it as an emergency torch which it has built into it so you always have a light source..I use mine with the filter provided as it makes it much more halogen like ... Couple of issues I've found though is if you drop them or knock them they will not come back on until they have been recharged its some kind of safety cut-out thing and they ain't light lol...Atb Andy ended up getting a dereelight xsearcher ,,throws thurther than their dereelight 800 model,,,,very very good nice neat beam ,,,going to have fun when nights draw in,,even way extension tube on still fits in jacket pocket ,,couple spare batterys in pocket jobs a goodun lol,, Edited June 7, 2013 by whip x grey Quote Link to post
One-mode-torches 0
I got a "4000lumen" u2cree off eBay with flood and spot zoom. Cost £30 converted to single beam (no flashing or sos)and came with scope mount. The beam is great even at 100m its a lot better than my lenser T7, and takes AAAx 3 and 18650 rechargeable batteries lasts for about 2-3hrs on one descent 5300mAh battery and the seller fitted a remote pressure switch for an extra £12 Seems like a good solid torch as I've dropped it twice and still works great.
