baw 4,360
Aye mate, it's the only dog I've seen doing it, it was a pure breed, thickest dog I've ever known. Couldn't catch it's tail but what a laff we had at it. Must be a saluki thing. Quote Link to post

baw 4,360
aye mate, this one was thick and useless. It was a 7 year old pet he got from some c**t, he planned to breed from it. But after seeing how f*****g useless it was, he changed his mind lol. I'm not slating the saluki, just this individual dog. It knew nothing about anything lol and I don't mean out in the field, I mean anything. How to walk on a lead, think it was the first time it had seen a collar but what a f*****g laff, you were scared to let it off the lead and it was torture on it Quote Link to post

baw 4,360
We did it wasn't hyper, total opposite, right lazy b*****d. He had it for a year then rehomed it. In that time not once did it respond to its name, just threw you a deafy it could hear a crisp poke open 50 yards away but fuckall else. Took it out into a field with rabbits just for the crack, rabbits all down near side hedge, let it off..... It headed in the right direction but not running, more a fast walk like those trotting horses it "trotted" right past where the rabbits were, now safely tucked up rearing their second brood of squeakers, kept going, down bottom of field, turned right along fence, same speed....... Right around the perimeter of the field..... We were rolling about in tears we had to jump the f****r as it came past or it would be still trotting yet!!! Honest mate, we had some laughs with that dog. Any young c**ts that wanted to come out with us, we were like aye, you take the saluki Quote Link to post

baw 4,360
it was mate, it once done the same on a railway line, f****r off with the mate trying to catch it. It never speeded up when you got close to avoid you, it was if you weren't there:laugh: it went the same speed all the time, just quicker than you could jog. I could write a book about the laffs we had with that dog. The mates house backed onto football pitches. Any unaware young c**ts who came calling we would say, any chance taking the dog over the park for a piss, let him off or he won't kack..... Then once they left with the dog, we would bolt up to the bedroom window and watch the fun. No one ever walked it twice Quote Link to post

I chased it on my mountain bike... It turned a deaf ear .. I tried all the soft chat i could think of... Good boy ... Good puppy come here blah blah... About a mile up the road i got pissed off at this dog and roared at it... Fecking thing stopped dead in its tracks and crawled back to me Quote Link to post
walshie 2,804
Shouldn't salukis be folded B over D and E over C? Or am I thinking of greyhounds? Quote Link to post
