mcass123 6
Hi, I have a 5 month old Lab pup and he managed to slip his lead a couple of weeks ago and got hit by a car, his pelvis was quite badly broken and he needed major surjery to re-build it, his hip also needed re aligned, he has come through the op ok but i was wondering if anyone has had anything like this happen before and if so, did the dog make a full recovery or was there problems with running, jumping etc? Cheers Mcass123 Quote Link to post
Lab 10,979
Different injury but my Grandads brothers dog fell of a pile of Haybails and broke his shoulder. He was the runt of the litter as well and turned out to be a cracking big lab and a brillaint game finder... 1 Quote Link to post

The one 8,484
I would of been more worried if a bitch shattered her pelvis for giving birth etc it might mean getting her dressed but once a dogs mended it shouldn't cause any problems Quote Link to post
