BS40liam 203
true mate but to say this is gonna be the best lamping weekend this year is wrong theres been better weather conditions full moon nights the stuff never sits as well out as it does on dark moonless nights i don't say it was gonna be the best lampung weekend, that was the person who started the topic, I nearly just stated that just because there's a full moon dosn t mean you can't get out and do a bit! As long as there's cloud cover it should be fine. Quote Link to post
stabba 10,745
If there's cloud cover then thats good enough...ever heard of using cover and hedgerows/tree lines to your advantage?? Ffs..wait for the perfect night then you'll maybe get 3 nights a season lamping. Granted its not perfect but its enough to get out there and have a bash...atb stabba 1 Quote Link to post
sthelens hunter 73
I would love to know how many times in a season some of the people on this site go lamping if they only go when there is no moon Quote Link to post
brookie 1,193
you get to many problems on a full moon ,dogs running on ,dogs getting hurt then you cant go out when the moon is down because the dogs are laid up ,its not for me totally agree ian .like daylight out ground saturated .dogs best left in the pen 1 Quote Link to post
terryd 8,570
I would love to know how many times in a season some of the people on this site go lamping if they only go when there is no moon 2 weeks on 2 weeks off give or take depending on weather etc. The op is right though the weather is ideal at the moment and you can bet any thing once the moon is workable the cold spell will arrive with its -5 and rock hard ground Quote Link to post
