hi all i was woundering if anyone uses gate nets or stop nets? [bANNED TEXT] is the best size ? i do alot of hedgerows an there a bit of a pain in arse with purse nets dogs dont have a chance ! or is they any other way round it?

Stop/gate nets 5-15 yards long mate slip them through the hedge to break up the setts every 10 to 20 yards I also purse net what I can to maximise the catch, hope this helps, atb rc1

Use 5yd gate nets to break the hedge up.

stop nets on the runs up the hedgelines.

 

try using large purse nets..cut the cord at the opposite end to the peg and put another peg on that end also..great for catching them on the runs...and they pusre up a lot better than if you have a single peg on the net.

Run a wee net threw a hedge and a fence to stop the rabbits running up the hedge instead of threw it , but also hung a purse net over a run on two nettle stalks its just as effective

thanks lads, iam goin to make a large purse net about 10 ft long! think that should stop them. atb jamie
