A little mooch today with great company

Was invited out today for a little walk , met ray (BIRD) this morning at his place to give him a hand with catching a rat . I can honestly say hes one of the most genuine , down to earth blokes ive met in long time after a bit of a chin wag we headed off with the dogs in tow (lulu, sid ,bryn and buck). the ground was very wet but we still mamaged a decent walk round a few feilds and through the wood .

Well i can tell you all " buck" is a real cracking pup and shows a hell of a lot of promise for the future !! i was also very impressed with bryns style of doing things , real fast dog for a 1st cross collie/gh .

I was initialy a bit concerned my young dog sid , whos a bit boisterus ,would be a bit much for buck but he realy held his own and wasnt phased by sid at all and gave as good as he got to be fair . Id taken my camera hoping for some good shots but unfortunatly my lens was constantly fogging up in the damp conditions and didnt get much worth posting .So ill apologise now for the quality of pictures .

Although my bitch was a bit under the weather today we still had a great couple of hours . We arrived back at rays , where i was presented with a brew followed by bacon and egg sandwiches (your mrs knows how to cook an egg mate lol).

Once again mate id like to thankyou for a good little mooch and your hospitality :thumbs: we ll go out again soon ray and try and put some stuff in front of them .

Nice pics mate looks a good day like your dog lulu , i had a chat with bird on here and he sounds a genuin fella and bucks bloody huge now , im a saluki lad at heart but bryn makes me want a collie x lol maybe keep abit saluki blood in the mix though
