bob.243 8,998
Don't know much about the 18 x, but have the 28 x 200 & 28 x 300 Sigma's and can't fault them.
Ossie n Arch 1,682
Iv'e got the 70-300 Sigma. Very good it is too. Stays on the camera all the time now, would have been nice to get the VR model for the longest length shots, but needed it quick so couldn't source one in time. A mono-pod might be my next purchase. Have a good look on Ebay, always some good deals on there.
MuttleMcTuttle 21
I believe the sigma 18-250 got some good reviews, but I've not tried either lens myself. SIgma are usually pretty good, but can have quality control issues. Had a couple of sigmas in the past but really couldn't get on with them, found they gave too much flare and weren't really sharp at the extremes of the zooms, but for the price... the main gripe with the 18-250 seemed to be the weight... hahahahahaha wimps!!!!! Yeh my 150-500 is in the workshop at the momment I suspect the ultrsonic motor has lost the will to live, but to be honest I have been using it for over 4 years and I cant fault the pic quality it is a little soft at the long end but a little tweek in photoshop tends to correct this, thanks.
