The standard of shooting is poor at best we have 2 novices this year we talking 6 to 1 on flat ground ! should of had 10 guns per shoot day but had only 8 most times, lost 2 main covers early on so not worth shooting not because no birds but couldnt get round them, pens flooded out, things can only get better i would like to think, its been hard going this year for most.

You've broke the record and your not shooting January? Who was the last f*****g keeper??

i dont really want to comment on the last keeper, but they never set dates after the 27th because of no birds, i have totally changed things around we dont even shoot any of last years drives, i moved every game cover and its paid off, hand fed too. dogged in lots and stopped the birds being nicked by the next door shoot

Its been the toughest year I can remeber in that regards. Alot of birds died of hypothermia and i doubt many wild broods made it between that and many cover crops failing.
