midnight 657 Posted December 30, 2012 Report Share Posted December 30, 2012 bloody hell they look great !! i bet your proud of them ? im glad you guy put my stuff to good use , how do you find stick/key tangs to finnish compared with full tang . iv only made a small number of stick tangs iv struggled with them but about 3 weeks before xmas it "clicked" and i think i have it sussed out , makes for a wider range of handle materials to be used (natural stuff espesialy) and a lighter knife . all the best , matt Quote Link to post Share on other sites

I find the key tangs alot faster and easier to make than the full tangs, the hardest part was cutting the slot into the brass. I made up the full tang blade herdwick bought from you at the same time as these and shaping the handle took a long time and ate up sanding belts. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
