Micheal Bell 16
can any one help ive been looking every were to find a work shop manual for my logun solo. i can strip it down so far but i need to get inside the bolt housing as there is muck or sumthing in there that is making the rifle very hard to cock. any info would be great. i can take part of the bolt out as far as i can see there is nothing left that will allow me to remove. im stumped. there has to be sumthing im missing. Tron 173
Its been a few years since I repaired that model gun, Its extremely unusual for the bolt assembly to stop working correctly. It sounds to me If it is a secondhand rifle that perhaps the previous owner has packed out the hammer spring to gain more power. by doing this it will stop the bolt from having enough travel to cock the trigger assembly prior to firing. check that the hammer spring hasnt had spacers inserted. Micheal Bell 16
the thing is it was working fine for a few days. but now when im cocking it its nice and smooth until the final engage on the back of the bolt it takes a fair amount of pull the get it to engage. i will check out what you have told me. thanks for the info. do you know or anywere i could get a work shop manual just so i can cover my tracks even thow its pritty simple ATB Quote Link to post

Tron 173
The Ultra is a much more complicated rifle to strip than the Logan. although I have repaired more Ultras than the Solo the Solo is very easy to make +12FPE. the Ultra though is much better if its the multishot model..... Its horses for courses at the end of the day. Quote Link to post
