wireing on lightforce

i have had my light force lamp for just under a year now and dont get me wrong its had a fair bit of use but i went out last night went to switch it on and nothing so i cheked everything over it was all fine so then i though WIREING! :angry: what a load of shit have to keep twiking the wire to make it work i mean i just paid good money for that a year ago and its fecked already. do i just take it back to the shop i got it from and ask them if thay will do it for me i no i am going to have to pay for the repair due to the warrenty being out of date any info on it many thanks wb :thumbs:

you could take it back, and get replacement/repair. in return you will get another lightforce lamp which will eventually give you the same fault.

 

On the other hand, you can just make a permanent repair using through crimps or solder.

initially, the round "lock-nut" that holds the switch on, actually came loose and lost that in the hours of darkness, I replaced this with a doorbell switch. As doing so, this means i replace the whole "live" side of the lamp. The "Neutral" side of the lamp i left untouched as it runs straight from the battery to the lamp terminal.

 

I've only been let down now due to my crap wiring to the back of the doorbell switch :D
