Sounds a perfect power rating to me buddy .

 

You will not see any difference in regards to quarry being killed differently or targets being knocked over between 10.6 and 11.6 foot pounds.

 

Needing 11.5 foot pounds is a big myth mate.

 

Do you know what the difference is in regards of feet per second from 10.6 to 11.6? Its just 34 feet per second mate which with a pellet travelling at 10.6 foot pounds or around 752 feet per second equates to nothing and even at 70 yards you 10.6 foot pound shot will still holds 4.6 foot pounds of energy, so enough to kill a rabbit easily.

 

I would be well happy with 10.6 mate.

As Si says, the power its at at the moment is an ideal power....

There were a LOT of HW100's being sent back to HC due to power creep so they deliberately set the power low now to compensate for the creep if any

As already said, stick a few tins through it and see whaere its at, with airguns its all about consistency not power

If you are getting around the 11 ftlbs mark which it sounds like you are, I think thats fine. HW100's can and do creep over the legal limit with use as well, not by much, but enough, a few friends rifles were doing 12.4 tlbs but these were sorted.. Weirarauch do tend to apply a fair bit of grease during manufacture, this excess can impede the rifles working parts at times and could have some effect on the power output, just do a strip and clean if this is the case. But I still think you'll find yours will eventually sit around the 11ftlbs mark with use. There have been low power issues also with HW100's that needed returning to Hull Cartridge to be sorted, but these were only pushing 6/7 ftlbs. I still think yours sounds OK and will even out power wise with use.

Hi mate the grease used on these rifles has a tendency to thicken up in cooler weather and slowing the action.. If you look on you tube it will show you how to degrease it.

Weather is cold if shooting low - close to Sub 12FP Now dread to think what it will do on a Warm day

 

Remember when they first come out and Shooters started to use them in HFT where a Chrono was used

 

Aware a few come unstuck

 

Power is great but many find guns Shoot far Better Sub 11FP All year round

 

Pellets do greatly effect Power - Especially in HW100's

Ill have to check it regularly I'm going to go with zini/marksman I've seen them on the tube and always no what there talking about can people suggest how many I should put trough it before I test her again

stick a full tin through first mate, then test every 250 or so

Buy a Combro and check it when you take it out! Only takes a couple of shots to check the power!

as above mate, mines been slowly creeping up,to be fair not by much but every tin of pellets i chrono... although from new i did remove the thick crudy grease as shown on youtube, think it was cubeycat.....that didnt really effect power but also when cold it didnt seem to effect power much either like some other people seem to pick up.. if i was you though i wouldnt worry one bit atleast if stopped by the police youre in the safe side of power, now if it was 11.9 on chrono then i would be worried as heard police use the best pellets they can to take your gun over the limit...... all the best steve

turn it around the other way and it should fit

 

i cant see it not being able to fit if you need your HW100 looked at and put over a Skan Chrono give me a shout your only up the road.but as every one else has said put a couple of tins through it first,if you still have the same problem,get in touch i can raise the power for you if needed
