Hi everyone can you help I've just bought a hw100 brand new before Xmas I've fired around 500 shots trough her but when I cronod it I got an average of 10.6 fpe and my highest was 10.9 fpe I was wondering if this is a part of bedding in or might I have a problem as I don't wan to damage it thanks dan

Have you put to much lube on ,have you tried any other pellets say a heavier one like daystate heavies or jsb heavies . Mine had to go back to hull cartridge for being under powered

Owwww no I followed a video on YouTube I put 2/3 squirts on a tin of 500 no I Havnt tried heavier ones how long did they take with it I have heard it might be because of thick grease in the action any ideas

its sat around 11ft lbs... whats wrong with that?

 

the extra .xx ft lbs isnt going to make alot of difference and your just running the risk of it going over the limit if you have it too high

 

10.9 is an ideal power

 

Aslong as it shoots well then it shouldnt be too much of a concearn

You can clean the grease out by heating it up with a hair drier. Mine only took 4 days to come back

I thought that I just didn't want anything inside to be fouling and damage it when I could get it done on warranty that's all

At 61 yards there a milldot difference that was my main concern

I really don't want to touch it myself I'm no gunsmith and as ar177 says its just my luck for it to creep over the limit and I don't want that

I wouldnt be to concerned mate to be honest as AR177 said 10.9 is fine as long as it put the pellet where you want it to then its fine, i have had 3 hw100 and two power crept above 12 from new and they were putting out 11.5 new, if it were me i would wait put a few more tins through and then go from there. if you use bis mags or a heavier pellet its probably sitting around 11.3ish anyhow. is it consitent over the chrono? 500 pellets is nothing put a couple of thousand through it and check again i bet it has gone up .

Your readings are fine imo. They're deliberately set low as the power can rise. 10.9 is absolutely fine and .3 FPE will not make much difference if any ;-)

Thanks guys a lot of reading later I'm going to run a few thousand trough it as crono it again I was worried if I bought a broken one and it would get worst thanks again guys
