adam s 32
My doe has finally had her first litter of kits, and to be honest ive never seen a ferret kit before. Is there anything i should be checking for with the kits or the mother? not sure this is my first time breeding, But other than that from what i can see the mother and the kits are doing fine and she seems to be a great mother. Yes to your question I like to put a nice bowl of fresh cold water in morning and then again in the evening they can easy get dehydrated raising kits , give her plenty of food she likes and stuff that's easy to get down important on the early days and a raw egg yolk instant grub , Quote Link to post
stroller 341
give her plenty of fresh food and water and stay away from them! she will eat her young or abandon them if upset. I had a young cocker spaniel get into the shed (My fault) and upset a jill this year and the end result was handrearing a litter of which i lost all but one. Quote Link to post
