I know they are hyper and 100 mile an hour out in the field but are they steady around the house?

They are/were on the list.

I've had a couple of terriers and my dads had a few and all have had the same crazy wired to the moon temperament.

Are beddys similar?

How about a Border Terrier Gaz,lot less gassy than other terriers imo, quiet, coat easy to manage, make good bushing dogs too....just to add,had a cocker years ago,it was the most destructive animal Ive ever owned, left alone for two minutes it would trash a room, once bored of the furniture it would dig holes through the plaster to the brick :censored:

Thanks for all the input folks.

Whippet is looking favourite if I'm honest. Or maybe a beddy/whip.

I'm not walking and feeding a dog I can't make use of in the field. I will just use it daytime and resist the temptation of taking it lamping.

Cheers
