A NICE MOOCH WITH MY LAD

took my lad (3 in jan) on a nice hour walk with the dogs. went through all the woodblocks around here and wished id had a catty for some of the game that was hanging about (pigeon' squirrels).

 

he enjoyed himself, seen a hole and remembering from last time i took him ferreting he said, in round about words 'dad out the ferret down the rabbit hole and the dog catch the rabbit'. he is really coming on and learning all about the outdoors and what we do. he ended up soaking wet after the dog knocked him in a big ouddle and trunched home with his collection of sticks and stones.

he does mate. i always try and get him out as much as possible. its not always practical (weather, short of time). but encourage him to enjoy the outdoors.

Looks like he is going to be Ferreter, I used to take my Lad out Ferreting, snaring and night longnetting, but he hated it.

Ended up a Golfer.
