A lady found him a few hundred meters away from where he ran off, must have got in with the horses and donkeys whilst chasing rabbits. Looks like he was kicked between the eyes. I doubt he even knew what happened and he died doing what he loved. The main thing is now I know and i got to say goodbye, he's down the bottom of the garden now. Thanks to you all for your kind words and support, All the best for 2013 Sorry for your loss mate same happened to mine last Thursday chased rabbit under hedge horse was sheltering out of rain she must have startled it and it kicked out she was lucky in a way it hit her in middle of chest had a couple of visits to vets and needs about a weeks rest but could have had a different outcome.
