MIssing whippet/sal/grey - west New Forest

I've posted elsewhere on the Hunting Life Forums for Lost & Found but thought i'd do it again here, if no one minds?

 

My boy was last seen december 23rd down on the east side of the New Forest - Ashurst Bridge/Woodlands way, near Totton. It's feasible he could've made it further west into the Forest. If anyone's down this way and hears or sees anything please pm me.

 

Any information leading to his return will be much appreciated.

 

He's 23" and sandy coloured. scars on the insides of his legs, an irregular white patch on his chest. Slightly darker tail.

I live near Totton and walk the dogs in the Forest every day. Will keep an eye out for him, hope you get him back soon.

Sorry to here that mate, have you tried looking on the likes of the BLUE CROSS website, someone may have taken him to another area and tried running him, so he could be anywhere by now, try the websites... GOOD LUCK

Thanks people, but bad news i'm afraid, got a phone call yesterday. A lady found him a few hundred meters away from where he ran off, must have got in with the horses and donkeys whilst chasing rabbits. Looks like he was kicked between the eyes. I doubt he even knew what happened and he died doing what he loved.

The main thing is now I know and i got to say goodbye, he's down the bottom of the garden now.
