Guest jas ferreter Posted August 30, 2007 Report Share Posted August 30, 2007 (edited) hi mate new to this forum did not think of chating to some one about the long net quick setbag looked all over but found it to be dear but like the pics of yours great bit of kit been ferreting now for about ten years but only just started to long net make all my own hemp nets dont like the red or green ones you get from the shops rabbits seem to run through them had it happen few time but hemp is shit hot when there in there in just got 60z green one hazel sticks 30 inch long fix them to the stick with bands could you help me with any good pics of the quick set so that i can weld one up only got 25yard at the min just made hemp one 22ftlong to make 18fter put white cord round works ok with otherone order one more 25yard got to sit and make another 22ft so got two for one side hedge and to for another as i them in adiamond shape which i have done with my mate before so far away in middle but in at both ends of the net take them in to the hedge then spilt the hedge into three with sack plastic one any colour so when the rabbits see them and can not go through they have to bolt works great cheers hope you can help or no so one who can jasferreter Edited August 30, 2007 by jas ferreter Quote Link to post

Only the one you saw was of a take apart design to help save space when storage can be a problem at 40quid posted i think there a good deal Masterhunter. on your 20yrd stop net the poles seem to be 10yrds apart as you describe it, do you find this a little bit of a distance causing the top line to sag upon a rabbit striking the net?
