My GSP didn't get on with Beta Puppy at all...too many additives apparently. I was advised to try Burns Puppy which is totally natural. She was great on it and i would definitely use it again. I would always buy the best puppy food i could afford...better quality ingredients

My pup is having no problems with Beta puppy, got 2 15 kg bags at Pets at home store for £50 the other day and before that £24 for a 15 kg bag online. However saying that every dog is different and you need to find the right food for your dog. I was a buyer in a large store that sold pet food and you would not believe how many dog foods are on the market.

Dog food is very easy, open your dogs mouth, see the big canine teeth they are for eating meat, so why feed something that has cereals as the main ingredient. Dogs can look great and do well on all sorts, does not mean they would not do better on something more suitable though. Real meat is best, if not read the labels on the sacks of food you can afford and go from there, you want meat or meat meal as the first (main ingredient) not cereals or meat byproducts. Cheaper ones i have tried with good ingredients are costco kirklands excellent food, pets at home wainwrights (like james wellbeloved but cheaper). Burns was very dusty and had a scouring affect on my dogs but may suit yours. Most decent food is expensive. Read the ingredients, pick something your dog will eat and you can afford to buy regularly, look at the effect it has on your dogs condition and how much shit it makes.
