robbo tip 5
so many biased idiots talking bout rubbish, if a utd player had done it lets say rooney you lot would have wanted him hung, if you cant see how dangerous it was then its specsaver you need, look it may not be the best man utd team same for last 3 years but we will be there trying for the title. fair play to swansea i love watching them its driven by jealousy mate.. Neil Warnock should be the most hated man in football for the shite he comes out with but most people dismiss him as an irrelevance and laugh at him. Anything Fergie says gets picked up on, dissected and elaborated on purely because of his success at United... correct pure jealousy

BULLDOUG 199
Jose won backto backtitles with Chelski and that is no easy task, but the thing that stood out to me the most was Fergies ability to take it back and put it on its rightful shelf. Oneil?? I m a fan of Oneil but i would have liked to see him stay at Villa a bit longer, see what he would have acheived once his young team had matured a little. masmiffy 82
This pretty much say all you need to know about what amounts to the best manager there has been! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alex_Ferguson
NEWKID 27,237
Sir Alex, couldn't give a shit if he's liked or not, to have his success takes more drive and hard nosed will to win than most could handle, he's not in it for popularity, mourhino to me is a similar type. Fans of other clubs won't like fergie ( obviously), his comments after the Swansea game were over the top for sure, but there hasn't been a lot of mention about the shoddy performance ( no disrespect to Swansea who are establishing themselves as a decent premiership side), or rooneys worst game for ages, good deflection maybe..... We should enjoy the old boy while he's still there, he'll be a long time gone, even his haters might miss him a bit then lol For what it's worth, Mourhino would be my choice to take over he would relish the chance of taking over from fergie, there is no doubt about his will to win mentality, he gets the players playing for him using similar mind games as fergie I wonder if David Moyes, O'neil etc could handle it? They don't strike me like they have that something else like Mourhino,

He'd be the main man at the centre pulling all the strings, unlike at Chelsea where he had to deal with numerous directors of football, etc and an owner who was forcing his own choice of players on him.. Floyd17586 454
Imo mouriniho is a brilliant manager but hes to big headed in my opinion how long would take him to get fed up and move on???;i think oneill has proved himself with celtic i know there not real madrid or chelsea etc but hes proved hes got a winning mentality that can. Cope with pressure.i think it was ashame him leaving villa as he was doing an excellent job

He can do it... I don't think he will be off quickly, he stayed with Chelsea until the Russian had enough of him, I don't think he wanted to leave, but he's not the type to be told what players he's got to play ( shevchenko) etc, fergies the same could you see him being told by the yanks who he has to play, he'd be long gone too. I don't think we'll ever see another stint like fergies put in, but give Mourhino free reign at utd and where else would he want to be? baw 4,360
Fergie has proved he can compete with the best but more importantly, he has always had the backing of the players and fans 100%. To have that backing consistently for so long is a very hard task and there isn't many could do it. Yes I know he struggled at the beginning before some c**t says. It's hard to keep motivated in any job year after year nevermind motivating Other. That's why most managers only last 3,4 seasons then every c**t wants a change. Whether its personnel or style of play. Oneil gave us 7 years and brought success but I wasn't too sad to see him go due to his style of play. I suppose it's what you want in life, MON was no doubt successful as a Celtic manager, but I expect more than just success at Celtic, I want them to win the Celtic way..... Style, classy, attractive attacking football.
