stabba 10,745
Regardless of him being an excellent manager(not a man utd fan btw) i still cant fathom how he aint landed himself in hot water with some of the malicious statements he's come out with over the years. Heat of the moment statements maybe..but scathing all the same. Managers have been reprimanded by the FA for alot less and this last debacle just goes to show that Fergie does get favoured treatment.

That maybe because he is a very respected Old man who still shows the younger generation how to play/read the beautiful game. They didnt just nickname him "sir" at the back of the Stretford end. To think how football has changed over the years, yet consistently Sir Alex has rebuilt and conquered, add to that the financial power Chelsea and City etc have now, he's still doing it, It doesnt get much better than this

chartpolski 24,139
"Footballer Gets Hit on Head With Football !!!!" Read All About It, Manager accusses player of trying to kill another player by kicking a ball at him !!" LMFAO !! If ManU had won, there wouldn't have been a word said !! What a joke !! All contact had now gone out of soccer; it's now a game of divers, whingers and cheaters !! SAF may be a great manager, but he's still a prick who gets away with far more than any other manager can !! Cheers.

lanesra 3,994
Can't dispute his Achievement in the English/Domestic game he is Certanily up there Alongside Paisley concerning the last 40yrs . . But when it comes to Europe he Certanily isn't the best as he has won 2 European Cups in 25 yrs with the Big Crowds and an open Cheque Book backing him , Maurinho won a European cup and title in Portugal , then came to England and turned Chelsea into a Title/Double winning Team , then went to Italy done the same with Inter winning the Treble , then Spain with Real Madrid Winning there Title off Barca who many say are 1 off the best teams ever , yes he's had the Financial Backing but that's only a part of producing a successful Club / Team as many have found out , so for me Maurinho's record in European Football stands head and Shoulders above Ferguson or any 1 for that matter as he's been there and done it ! True what your saying lansera, but those other leagues are nowhere near as competitive as the premier league.

And I'd hazard a bet that anyone calling him a twat would swap him for their teams manger in a heartbeat. Well let's be honest, he is a twat lol but no doubt about him as a manager!! Personally I wouldn't say he Is the best ever tho far to many other top class managers been about to say that!! Risus michels, who won manager of the century, created the "total football" in the 70s that barca still play today, not only did he win club trophies In Spain and Holland he also took Holland to a world cup final and won the euros with them 4 yrs later!!! And of course we have Jose a man even fergie himself admits will go on to win double what fergie has in different leagues around Europe......going to be a very interesting couple of games against the two of them soon, I no who my money will be on....
BULLDOUG 199
Ronaldo seems to be forcing a move back to Old trafford, wouldnt surprise me if he doesnt arrive shortly and if he doesnt Madfrid will bve rattled before the game thats for sure, Mike Tyson could win a fight before the bell and Sir Alex has won many a match before kick off. Maybe the successor to Sir Alex RED ARMY (THE WINNING CLUB NOT TEAM) I think if the Board at OT got Maurinho they would have the Ideal Replacement for Ferguson , match made in Heaven I'd say , I'd love him at Arsenal but unfortunately those in power there at the moment would be Terrified he'd want to spend . . . .and we can't be having that can we , that might effect there Bonus !
