The Phantom is known for a heavy trigger a lot of people who own these in the Us upgrade the triggers here are 2 links the first 1 is fitting an upgraded trigger to a phantom the second is upgrading the standard trigger using a washer which is supposed to give the same results as the upgraded trigger

Some early Phantoms do have the same trigger in the second video so the washer mod will work

I have checked most of the above and it is not any of them apart from different pellets which helped a lot, also I was at my local gun club today and as Tron suggested I got an experienced shooter to try out my gun and he put it down to the fact that it needs a different scope so I am going have a look at some scopes and when I get a new one and get it tested out I will comment on this again and let you all know how it went.
