Discouraging a dog from peeing in a particular place?

Recommended Posts

Has anybody got any tips to discourage my dog from peeing up against the entrance to his kennel/bedding box from the run?

It seems to be his favourite spot for doing it, and I have no idea how to stop him. I have yet to catch him doing it, but its obvious he's doing it by the smell and dampness on the wall and floor.

I have seen some pee posts online that are supposed to encourage the dog to pee on them but I have read reviews and they don't get enough positive reviews to make it worth while trying.

Any help or tips would be appreciated.

Thanks Kyle

You need to get rid of the scent, that's why dogs go back to the same plac, you can buy a proper spray for the job from pet stores don't use house hold cleaners because there bad for your dog and some contain ammonia which will attract a dog to go there

Just attach the water and food bowls to the side of the run too high for him to piss in.

Edited to add: oops, hadn't seen that had already been posted :icon_redface:
