Will 15mm bamboo cains be ok to use as poles for my long net?

I wouldnt mate, cant put a point on them for toffee. Plus once the go in the middle their useless, I can see them snapping trying to get them in hard ground. Maybe ok for a traditional, as you can pick and choose what your gonna use, but I wouldnt tie them in a quick set. You might want to sand them round the growth rings as they can be quite sharp and snaggy. Whilst your out, cut some hazel wands for back up..

If a bamboo snaps on hard ground your quite likely too give your self a piercing
