Get some more info on blueprinting before you proceed , its a shame in my eyes .

Risingfriend , xtx and Phil ( Rat Works ) are both very well known aand respected .

Also , consider the fit of each rifle before you buy .

Having said that , i assume you have tried both ?

Always spend as much as you can , it pays in the long run .

Maybe you could get yourself into a club so you can try a few and see what suits you best .

Mine originaly went through darrin at xtx for a reg set up, and more recently went to phill for a .25 conversion and 'blueprint'/fine tune......and can reccomend both for quality of goods but phills turn around time is silly!

Something like 5 days all in and back to my door with a break down off all work done and and full test sheet. Also nocked me up a cut down BSA R10 shroud wilst he was at it. Hes a good lad and gets the thumbs up from me.

I cannot comment on a Jb blueprint as have never owned or shot one. I can comment on xtx as my gun was regged and fettled by XTX by the previous owner and its spot on and as accurate as my hw100, also

I cannot comment on a Jb blueprint as have never owned or shot one. I can comment on xtx as my gun was regged and fettled by XTX by the previous owner and its spot on and as accurate as my hw100, also have brought items from xtx for my brothers R10 great service etc, also Phil8282 have used his services in the past and have nothing but praise for his work. having said that they all offer a service and have good feed back on the bsa owners site. from personal experience i would go with phil or xtx for a reg and fettle but that is based on my own experience thats if you go down the route of an ultra. if you get a reg and fettle it will improve shot count and improve the power curve no end. So went to have a look at a ultra today and when i looked at it i thought it's a bit small for me. But then i shot it and had a play with it.and i LOVED it. I was hitting pellet on pellet at 30 yards with air arm pellet's in 177. great performer for the size of it.Then i asked could pay a deposit and collected it in the new year. He said that is fine.I did want it today witch i could off but i have promised my wife are buy her a new car in the new year.So are have to wait till feb. as my wife need s a new car for work.So i would just like to thank all the comments that helped me chose
