I own a regged ultra and is spot on and deadly accurate and will equal most top end rifles, have alook at XTX AIR for a reg or pm PHIL8282 on here for details, ATB Aaron     edited with link to joh

I cannot comment on a Jb blueprint as have never owned or shot one. I can comment on xtx as my gun was regged and fettled by XTX by the previous owner and its spot on and as accurate as my hw100, also

Get some more info on blueprinting before you proceed , its a sham in my eyes .

Risingfriend , xtx and Phil ( Rat Works ) are both very well known aand respected .

Also , consider the fit of each rifle before you buy .

Having said that , i assume you have tried both ?

Always spend as much as you can , it pays in the long run .

Maybe you could get yourself into a club so you can try a few and see what suits you best .

I bought a scorpion se that had been bought new then immediately sent off for blue printing. i scoped it up zeroed it fired a few through the chrono. had a look on chairgun, got my range marks sorted. went to my permission, and head shot a pigeon at 49 yards. it was outstanding. the guy that bought and had it blueprinted only fired 4 mags through it. but i had a hw100 sat at home so i wasn't using it so i sold it on.

By definition, a blueprint is rebuilding the rifle to the original blueprint specifications. The only people who have these blueprints (the original engineering drawings) are John Bowkett and BSA, so therefore nobody else can "blueprint" your rifle. Other people can "tune" a rifle, but it's not a blueprint.

There fore , if a rifle needs blueprinting , it has left the factory with the parts ``out of tollerance`` If BSA are happy to sell these items , and people still buy them .................
