B.P.R 2,798
how fitting. i have just recieved this email from the sspca. dont know how my email is on their hitlist and ive never donated a penny We say it often because it's true - without our supporters there simply would not be a Scottish SPCA.With your help and support, we've been able to rescue thousands of animals this year. Animals like Balto.Poor Balto (pictured) was left to fend for himself by his owner and our inspectors found him living in horrendous filth. He'd also been left with no water and was so thirsty he drank four bowls of water without stopping when we rescued him.Following our investigation, his owner was jailed and banned from keeping dogs. We looked after Balto, helped him regain his confidence in humans and, when the time was right, found him a loving new home.If he could talk, we're sure Balto would like to say 'thank you!'Thanks to your support, we've been able to rescue and find thousands of unwanted, abandoned and abused animals new homes this year.We were delighted to complete the redevelopment of our Highlands and Islands Animal Rescue Centre in Inverness this summer and we will continue to invest in our centres around Scotland. In spring, we opened Scotland's first National Wildlife Rescue Centre in Clackmannanshire, which has already taken in and helped rehabilitate thousands of sick, injured and orphaned wild animals. We look forward with hope and firmly believe in years to come we'll see the benefits of our free Prevention through Education programme for Scottish schools, which this year reached over 250,000 children.Next year will bring new challenges and we will face them together and continue to do all we can to help animals in Scotland.Thank you so much for your support. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from the Scottish SPCA and all of the animals we've been able to help this year! IN SHORT. thanks to your (certainly not mine!!) donation our prosecution funds for pointless cases has been topped up, your cash was used to give our bosses and headsheds a nice christmas bonus and ensure only the finest waitrose turkey is on their table. you paid for countless 'police look-a-like uniforms and although you donated in good faith. not one penny will help out animals. infact today, 500 dogs and cats were PTS as we couldnt afford to keep them- a waitrose turkey is expensive!! but please be safe in the knowledge we will continue to scam you out of your cash and persue those dangerous criminals. the poachers. be aware and be vigilant. your daughter could bang one if them. your son could know one of them. happy christmas and a happy new year. the sspca.
