james124 3
H HUNTING LIFE PEOPLE Just thought are share my last couple of days of hell.So i wanted to buy my children a puppy as they love dog's and have been very good this year.So looked in the paper last month and saw dalmatian puppy's kc with papers £350 witch i thought yep im having one of them. They wasn't ready until the 21/12/12.So i rang the man up and he said yes i still have 6 left. Then he said want a deposit of £70 to hold it for you.So i said ok no problem where are you based. He then said Gloucestershire. that's A Long way to travel i thought. But i did think its only twice i have to travel there so i made my mind up to get one as i wanted this Christmas to be the best.So i made my way up there last weeks ago and payed the man £70 after i payed him he told me he could hold it for as long as i want up to Christmas eve free of charge. Then i said to him can i pick it up the Friday before Christmas and he said yes no problem. So went to pick up the dog at 5 Friday on my own as i didn't want the kids to see it before i got home.As i pulled up it was in complete darkness and i thought that's strange as when i gave them the money it was like black pool with all the lights. So knocked on the door and a man answered and said can i help you and i said i have came to pick up the puppy he then said its number 5 caravan around the back just knock on.So i walked around and there was about 5 man standing there. Then the one man said to me in this way MATE your not taking the dog unless you pay me £320 today i said i only have £280 what i ow you.He said mate i have looked after your dog i fed it wormed it and had its first injection.I said have you got the paper work for the injection as are need it for the booster injection he said what you on about. Then i said you told me on the day i payed you you could hold it for me free of charge. Then the other man said look you didn't call up to say you still wanted the dog. Then i said what do you want me to do call you every day until today. Then one man said watch who your talking to i said im not here to cause trouble.I just want to collected my sons Christmas present .He said i don't care who the dogs for you pay me a extra £40 and you can take It.I said i haven't got no more money on me.Then the other man said come on do you think were thick. Then i just said are have to go home and get the rest of the money and come back. Then he said ok see you later.I Said are be back in about 4 hours as i have to go to Manchester. before i got into my car his wife came running up to me and put the puppy in my car and ran of.So after all that i have the puppy and are tell yoi what my kids hasn't been more happy Just be carefull when dealing with travelers Quote Link to post

Baghdadnights 150
So let me get this right the first time you went you met the guy in the house I'm guessing you saw the pups again in the house left a deposit. Then when you returned to collect the pup you had to go round the back to collect from a caravan. Mmm 1 Quote Link to post
AR177 588
Well from the sound of it they were not reputable people to be dealing with... Your probably lucky they didn't just strong arm you into giving over the rest of The cash and not giving you the dog! I think you had a lucky escape with that one ATB Adam 1 Quote Link to post
