Ideal size tts

imo ied say smaller better i cant be arsed sittin about in the cold waitin for a big dog to dig on and get up to the quarry it reminds me of waiting hours as a kid for me ferrits miles away from home on foot freezin me bollox of pisswet threw lol

Yes I remember those days in the cold with the ferrets lol

Also have used dogs 11 and 12 inch just wondering what people think about bigger dogs.

you will get mixed views mate as always on here coz evrymans got a diffrent oppinion on what he likes and diffrent earth size on his land its a standard a small dog can go in small earths and big earths and big dog can fit in big earts and normal earths but is going to strugle in really small earths

Its all about spannability for me,the best bitch I ever owned was nearly 14"tts but you could span her easilly,the part of the country I work is mainly scratched out rabbit holes and prefer a terrier around 12"TTS and have worked smaller but its hard to get small,boxy decent terriers that are 100%,hard,big dogs are two a penny,small decent dogs can manoevre well and so suffer less damage in my experience but breeding them true to type on a regular basis without losing the bone and head size is very difficult to accomplish everytime,WM
