chartpolski 23,718 Posted December 24, 2012 Report Share Posted December 24, 2012 Evidentely dogs were traded back and forth along the "Spice Road" between China and Europe, thru' India, the Middle East and Central Asia. Dogs were then bred to suit the land and conditions, giving us the Salukis, Rampurs, Tazi's, Afghans, Borzois, etc. There are still some of these breeds doing what they were bred for around the world.
