Evidentely dogs were traded back and forth along the "Spice Road" between China and Europe, thru' India, the Middle East and Central Asia. Dogs were then bred to suit the land and conditions, giving us the Salukis, Rampurs, Tazi's, Afghans, Borzois, etc. There are still some of these breeds doing what they were bred for around the world.

Looks like a podenco mate. Which is a reletive of the ibizan hound. They use them in Spain. Good rabbit dogs.

 

 

 

 

 

The borzoi is another.

hard to say isnt it. I recon many countries have good and bad dogs, though I feel if a dog is shyte in Kazakhstan, it might not survive to breed.
