Sirius 1,391
Deerhound, greyhound and collie in the mix will make a nice Lurcher. If they didn't often throw big I would have one. Yes they will; but if you thought you were buying a Deer/Grey that would be the size you were after, only to find out you'd got a Collie x, you might just feel a litle aggrieved ! Cheers. Buyer beware is the adage when I comes to lurchers. I would love to find a decent line or breeding of nothing but dh gh and a decent percent of collie that were doing the biz for a few generations and were producing average size dogs say of 25" or under I would be sorely tempted. 1 Quote Link to post
Dan Edwards 1,134
Ya Bloomington would be the closest but you most likely couldnt fly straight into there from England. Its not that big of an airport I dont think and if you could I bet it would cost a bunch more money than say O'Hare. Quote Link to post
hubbs 178
I have a deerhound grey collie a deerhound collie beddy and a deerhound grey whippet the first two 26 inch the one with whippet 23 inch all took longer to come on than I'd hope as I've learnt alot with deerhound in take longer than say bull x which I'm used to but wouldnt change them for the world very loyal relaxed dogs !! The one with whippet on is generation generation proven very well bred and worried me alot as didn't pick things up until recently Quote Link to post
