camokev64 36
Just a tip mate if you want that dog quartering correctly with very little prompting from yourself, get in the bracken yourself and work changing directions in diagonals, prompted if need be.You will see after a while the dog will automatically read your body language. It was apparent that the dog was hunting blank ground, hence his lack of drive, so i would keep the pattern tighter as he seemed to be getting a bit to far in front and he will get even further when he pulls on scent if not reined in. Nice little dog and by his body language looks like this one will switch off when given the command,a trait that a lot of trainers cain`t achieve. Ps. I`ll give you some more advice on how to encourage drive in non- game situations when the dog holds a nice pattern, well done "give us another video" K Ps Ps Don`t tell anybody !! ha ha ha Edited December 27, 2012 by camokev64 Quote Link to post
