Fields are fooked up here in Co Durham, never seen it like this in all my days.

Next it will freeze solid then come March melt and flood again.

We need a Blazing Long Summer to sort things out or crops will be fooked as well as the land.

they struggled to get the barley in this year as the ground was that wet back then theres fields of the stuff rooting

Ive been on a walked up day, under one of the amber severe weather warnings.... Part of the day was shooting a recently formed new lake (floods ) for t duck, we managed a bout ten.. Half the guns gave in at lunch, the rest of us carried on... but by jesus was I soaked by the end of the day, despite full Harkila Pro-Hunters Top and bottom...

I have never been so wet in 40 years......

Roads were flooded on the way home where they never flood... never seen it like this...

Sick of drying towels after each walk, I'm pissed off, dogs pissed off... Village is accessible only from one end, river is about 4 foot off the top of the flood defense and still rising, it's gone before at that height... Thank feck Christmas is wrapped up in this house, I wouldn't fancy being one of those traipsing round shops today...
