secretagentmole 1,701
This one is free as well. Many users of the NS50 hate the glare of the screen in use. It is way too bright and the glare is harsh. The solution is simplicity itself, acquaint yourself with yell.com, then search for car window tints, choose the one closest to you and give them a ring, ask for a bit of film that is anti glare and allows % of light through. They will usually offer you an offcut for nothing! Absolute zero cost. Examine the display unit of the Nite Site and get those technical screw drivers out. There are 4 small screws behind the display, remove those and the frame front of the display comes off, trim film to fit, insert, do up screws, no more glare! Easy and free! porkycrook 466
Cracking idea secretagentmole, i did the same to mine ages ago. My window tint company sent me three, all able to stop different amount of light. But in truth there are loads of different levels of shade, but dont ask for too many in fear of pissing them off. secretagentmole 1,701
I just asked a local car window tinting company how much a bit 6 x 4 inches was, I was told nothing you can have a bit for free, so we collected, I have loads left! Quote Link to post
optelic2 48
I found an even better way of reducing glare from the n200's screen was by using computer monitor screen material. Much more affective than the the camera gel filter i was originally using. Quote Link to post
