Dont laugh if this is a silly question, is that legal in England? I know taking hares is (saw it on the F-word ) So is deer legal?

Yeah ive seen the clip and it's from Czech Republic,

 

I would have posted a better quality clip (larger screen) but the Upload failed. The file was larger than the available space..bugger

Deer are a grey area as you cannot hunt them with dogs, you can only shoot them with a certain caliber rifle, but nowhere does it acctually say that you cannot hunt deer with an eagle. It dosent say you can either.

Dear Everyone,

 

Regarding the video clip of the deer catching the eagle:

 

I asked the author of this video clip and the eagle falconer (whose

eagle is taking the deer) about sharing their names. They think it is

important that the video clip is not anonymous! So, I would like to

say the accomplished eagle falconer is Frantisek (Franta) Chrpa and the

videographer is Ladislav Melo. Both men are part of a hunting group .

 

The video was filmed at the end of a day of deerhunting where a total

of three deer were taken. The videographer, Lada, had fast

reactions to capture the very experienced strategy of Franta's

confident female eagle. This is an exceptional flight and an

exceptional bird.
