clubshot 22 Posted December 21, 2012 Report Share Posted December 21, 2012 Been a BASC Member for Many years as Shoot Fire Arms as well as Air Gun's Been involved with many Shooters via the forum Boards and my club - Lea Valley Air Gun Club Hertford Often hear shooters discussing insurance Costs Aware of many that do not have any cover and have had to spend small fortunes when Shit hits the fan Best case has to be Darren Lindsey - Spent several years and a small fortune When someone shot a youth in His street - and Police was advised he had Air Guns Which was all removed on a Warrent Tried to get him assistance - but as quoted how can they help none members Rather like smokers complaining about Air Gun pellet prices - where 20 fire Sticks are around same price as 500 Air Gun pellets Most Landowners / Farmers are Members of BASC / Countryside Alliance You get what you pay for - a Bit a paper or Full time Staff and informative Websites BOB/R Quote Link to post

Tron 173 Posted December 22, 2012 Report Share Posted December 22, 2012 I have looked at a few of the various organisations offering shooters cover, the best for me was becoming a member of The Countrside Alliance. for the daft price of £16.00 per year I am covered for millions plus the back up of experts on gun laws and even intervention on my part of any disputes with neighbours, farmers, land owners, etc. Quote Link to post
