porkycrook 466
Hi all, I have a NiteSite NS50 and want to see a bit further, can you please give me the easiest and cheapest way to see further. I would just like to see a bit further, it is fine when you look at a hedge but it goes abit awash when looking into the field. I don't want to go up to the NS200, i just want to see further. paulus 26
no expert on night vision but as a general rule its the amount of ir light that makes the difference. i ended up fitting an ir filter to a scope mounted
albert64 1,882
the wifes just bought an ns50 for my xmas box, i had a look at the ns200 aswell and said its a bit over kill for a sub 12lb ft airrifle he said you can improve the distance by adding an extra ir, surely someones tried it
santons 2
Give Jake a ring at Nitesite or PM him on the Nightvision Forum easier to go direct sometimes
porkycrook 466
Been in contact with Jake and they (NiteSite) are doing an exchange where they give you the new price of the NS50 off the price of a NS200. So works out to be a £200 upgrade. I for one will be trying a ir torch.
appletree318is 21
I have one of these on my home made set up and you can see furthur around 85yrd I would say. Guess it depends in the camera abit too but for the money you could try it and sell it on. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CCTV-Surveillance-850nm-120m-Day-and-Night-IR-LED-Array-Illuminator-Lighting-/110983825175?pt=UK_Gadgets&hash=item19d726c717
