Roy Williamson 15
as above, also nikko do some reasonably priced scopes. I have the cheapest 3-9x40 hawke and the optics are very clear and bright, just wish I had paid the extra for AO, I think having adjustable objective or side wheel is very important at the close ranges we use aitguns at. j j m 6,539
A good hawk scope for that kind of money mate Quote Link to post
Acuspell 329
A better scope if you buy used. hawke are pretty poor actually. Nikko no better. It is like being poked in the eye with a sharp stick if you have to look towards the light at all. Quote Link to post

However my opinion is that actually for the money hawke and nikko sterling scopes are ideal. I have a panorama scope from the hawke range and think its ideal for what I use it for. Hunting and some target work now and again. I generally would always buy new when it comes to scopes and for 140 quid I would struggle to find a better scope than the panorama that's for sure. I wouldn't recommend anybody point there scope directly at a light source, I wouldn't want to damage my eye sight. Mawders Quote Link to post
kenraw 0
My friend uses a Hawk and for the money its awesome. I have a BSA essential 3x9 x50mm and it came with mount for £59 and I think its a great scope for the money. No fancy IR just does what it says and seems well made. I'm really happy with it. Mawders 595
TBH IR is overrated, I've had it on all my scopes and used it twice! Only reason I've always had IR is it just so happened to be on the scope I wanted, wouldn't miss it if the battery ran out. Quote Link to post
robwelsh 354
I think hawkes are good, I too had a panaroma, it sells for 130 , but sold that for mtc mamba lite...I paid 160 for it, I think the ret is good and its abit clearer than the pana I had. But the px adj is more accurate I find, and seems lighter. But for the money, I don't think you beat Hawke for scopes under a ton tbh Quote Link to post
