WHAT A WASTER

Recommended Posts

as a lot of you know i bred a litter of lurcher pups in september. all apart from2 pups went to good mates apart from this dog pup . the lad who came to fetch him seemed a decent young lad and said that he would never part with this pup as it was just what he was after . 2 weeks after he took it it was advertised on the net for sale twice as much as he paid me for it .so i rang him and i was going to doncaster to buy it back.the day i was fetching it the lad said he had gone to a mate . so i thought fair enough . the following day it was back up for sale on pets4homes so i rang him and told him i was taking it back but he told me it had gone once again so that meant that a 10 week old pup had 3 different homes. ive checked the net again today and the same pup is up for sale once again by the lad that origonally bought him off me . hope this links works it boils my piss

Advice when buying a new Lurcher

Please read the following advice before buying a new pet:

  • Read our Lurcher Dog breed information profile to find out more about this breed.
  • NEVER buy a new pet without visiting it first.
  • NEVER send money to someone for a pet using Western Union or Money Gram, as your money cannot be traced once sent.
  • Ask to see the pedigree papers and ensure the breeder's name is on the certificate.
  • Recently some advertisers are advertising their pets as Pedigrees, but when people have gone to buy the pet, the seller has made excuses and said they will post on the pedigree papers. NEVER pay for a KC registered dog or pedigree cat if they dont have the certificates as you may never receive them.
  • Be wary of outlets offering more than one or two breeds
  • When visiting the seller note the surroundings and never go alone
  • Visit the puppy or kitten more than once
  • The breeder should want to know about you too
  • Ask to see the puppy or kittens mother - be very suspicious if you can't

Puppies and Kittens bred commercially, indiscriminately and carelessly are likely to…

  • Develop disease
  • Have temperamental problems
  • Be difficult to housetrain
  • Find adjusting to family life hard
  • Suffer physical defects and have hereditary weaknesses
  • Think carefully before buying and do not buy the pet because you feel sorry for it.
  • If you buy from an unscrupulous breeder or dealer, you will be supporting their trade in misery. Every one you buy, another takes it place.

Buying a puppy or kitten in good health is vital for its own well-being as well as your bank balance.

Think i would arrange to go and see the pup as a buyer, once you got the lad and the pup in the same place do what you need to do. I would want to leave the money he paid for it when i took it back so

If he was selling the dog for less or what he paid, would you still be annoyed? I appreciate you sold the pup at a reasonable price and you have to be congratulated on that. But, once the dogs sold it

But when you rear a litter and sell them as you did then they are in there second home soon as they leave you. You have to accept that people's circumstances change in 10-15 years and that dog could h

Its a shame for a pup that young to be messed about.

Since I started again in 99 my opinoin has changed completely.
