Fox hanging by a leg

Recommended Posts

Fair play Tomo but did you give him a bunny before you sent him on his way with him having a bit of a limp? Lol ...I'm the same I've found foxes, badgers in snares and released them and deer caught up the same way which I have sent on their way too...even got home to find live bunnies in the bag which I've set free locally..like Socks said killing and hunting is two very different things IMO..Atb Andy

Had a quik wander last night round the fields by my house for some ferret food, and came across this poor fecker hanging by his leg,, one of those occasions when they have missed timed there jump,,

Isn't it strange how human compassion kicks in ? If that fox was running into the squeak, there'd be no second thoughts about slipping the dog.... but when it's hung up and helpless, most of us would

I think you underestimate how stupid some of the hunting fraternity is skycat. Not only would some slip there dogs on it while it hang there..... They'd film it too and come on here pleading for money

Your Definately growing tits tomo, first giving advice on cooking, now this  the farmer will be tickled pink when he sees his fence :D

As others say, nothing wrong with showing our fellow animals a little compassion. Now, if you start feeding the f*****g thing.......

Depends how bad it was like. I'm a f****r for chapping anything on the head because of not wanting to let it go and die painfully over the following days. Even if there was no serious damage I should imagine the poor sod would have been in a bit of uncomfort and limped off anyway. Quite probable it'll be bouncing around by tomorrow!

Be fit for boxing day! LOL.

Thanks for the possative coments,, I nearly had second thoughts about posting,,, cos in all honesty, I'm still not 100 % I did the right thing,,

Just because I hope I ain't left it suffering, like I say I'm 100% it hadn't broke its leg,,I just hope there was no other damage that wasn't obviouse ,,, but at least it's got a chance I suppose.

Cheers fellas

you intended to do what is right for the animal.............and it was a good intention which shows how much you respect animals and the countryside..................

others might of thought it may suffer and put it out of its misery and you gave it a chance ,............there very hard animals and it may make a decent recovery..........who knows ......
