Saluki types on fox preban

Heard about saluki types making decent fox killers preban. Did anyone run this cross successful on foxes? A mate had a saluki cross that he said was deadly on foxes in her day. I would have thought they wouldv been to lightly built for this job.

My uncle had afew 3/4 saluki greys that took fox regular per ban I wouldn't say night after night but took several in one night

Had one 27 tts black and white dog sal ghound x ghound whippet big powerful animal would go out to them with real vigour but wouldn't touch them, never had any trouble with him taking edible

Ive only ever seen 3 saluki xes on fox. One kept grabbing its tail but avoided the sharp end and the other two killed them without any fuss. Alot of lads with this type dont allow there dogs on them but im sure most will take the odd one. Wouldnt go as far to say they could do a hard season foxing though. Atb

the only saluki x ive seen thats any good was a saluki beddy grey 2nd generation 24tts done the with ease sigle handed i have a saluki collie grey he dus them but no wear near as good and as the often as the other dog did people who breed saluki x for fox cant be really tha clever really every one noes that they hare dogs

Jeez pre ban I had a russell,that would kill above and below.A decent running dog even a whippet could be heavier than a fox.Their not great white sharks obi2
